Somalia famine victims flooding into Mogadishu CCTV News
In Somalia, famine victims are flooding into the capital Mogadishu, in the hope of finding food aid and shelter.
The south of the country is in the midst of one of the worst droughts in 60 years, with many people already dead from starvation and disease. Meanwhile, the al-Qaida-linked al-Shabab militia appears to have backtracked on an earlier decision to allow international aid groups into the region.
The group which controls much of the area denies a famine is taking place. It disputes UN estimates that tens of thousands of people have died in Somalia.
